Student Course Permit Request

Special Notice to NON-DEGREE SEEKING or TRANSIENT STUDENTS: 

Permit requests for Non-Degree seeking or Transient students from other schools are granted on a space available basis in the College of Business (COB). As such, Non-degree seeking and Transient students are not permitted to register for COB courses until the first week of classes (Summer 2008: May 12, 2008/Fall 2008: August 25, 2008). Please submit your request for a permit at that time.

Before consideration is given in granting a permit request, ALL seven pre-requisites for COB admission must be met (please see on-line USF Catalog). Students will be required to submit a copy (unofficial is acceptable) of transcripts for previous coursework earned. Students may fax copies of transcripts to (813) 974-2797, ATTN: Non-Degree Processing. Please be sure to include a cover page for this fax with the following information:

• Your name and USF Student ID number (U#) as assigned by USF. If you do not know your USF student ID, you may view it at: OASIS
• A phone number and email address where you can be contacted.
• Prefix and number (e.g. ACG 2071) of the course(s) for which you are seeking a permit(s).

Transcripts will be reviewed and only if there is a problem will students be contacted. Otherwise, students may submit their request for a permit during the first week of classes for the term. The Director of Undergraduate Programs will determine whether there are sufficient seats available to accommodate non-degree seeking and transient students.
