Teaching Philosophy
Philosophically I believe that teaching is intrinsically linked to research and service; activities in one area have spill-over effects into the others. By performing research in local organizations I believe that I can more accurately relate the class materials to my students. These real-world examples appear to help the students understand why they are learning the material. Additionally it has an added benefit of service by helping the community by recommendations made based upon an academic perspective which can be made through existing and on-going research.
Current Teaching Assignments
Currently I am teaching QMB 3200, or Business Statistics II. This course builds upon the first statistics course by covering a prediction model: simple and multiple regression.
