Murad J. Antia Murad Antia earned his Ph.D. from the University of Houston (1981) and an MBA from Duke University (1977). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). His first job was at USF as an Assistant Professor in 1982. After about two years at USF, he left to join Barnett Banks Trust Co. where he was Director of Equity Research and a portfolio manager for about eleven years. Subsequent to Barnett, he spent four years at AmSouth Bank as a portfolio manager. He returned to USF in the fall of 2000. Professor Antia teaches Financial Statement Analysis and Investments at the graduate and undergraduate level. He was a recipient of the USF Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award (2003 –2004). He has published articles in the Financial Analysts Journal, the Journal of Investing, the Journal of Financial Research and the Investment Management Review. He also reviews books for the Financial Analyst Journal. |
