The Department of Economics announces opening for a full-time, tenure-track appointment to begin August 2008.  Field:
Applied Microeconomics
    Health Economics
    Industrial Organization

Preference will be given to candidates with strong empirical skills. Candidates are expected to have active research agenda that lead to publication in high-quality journals and be effective teachers at undergraduate and graduate levels. A Ph.D. in economics or its foreign equivalent is required.  ABDs will be considered but are expected to have their degree by January 31, 2009.
Appointment is expected to be at the rank of Assistant Professor. 
The Department has 15 full-time faculty and offers bachelor, master, and doctoral degree programs.
