Angela Thornton
USF Accounting Circle, Board Member

AngelaThornton worked for Capital One for five years as a business training consultant.  While working at Capital One, Angela obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree and later the fifth year requirements from the University of South Florida in May 2003.   Angela then transitioned into public accounting for two years, focusing on public companies that included the banking, restaurant, telecommunications, manufacturing and service industries.  After public accounting, Angela has spent the past three years in the private sector and is currently the Finance Manager of the Florida region of Circle K Stores Inc, which is publicly traded in Canada.  In this role, Angela is responsible for financial models and projections, region financial reporting schedules and analysis, management of the internal audit and accounts receivable departments, and various projects including acquisitions analysis.  Angela is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida and a member of the USF Alumni Association and AICPA.
