Alison Newman
USF Accounting Circle, Board Member
Alison began her career in Tampa with a Big 4 firm in the audit practice as a staff accountant and was promoted up to senior manager. During her 10 years in public accounting, she worked on both public and private companies in various industries including manufacturing, retail, real estate, and banking. She was a lead recruiter in the Tampa office and co-coordinated the recruiting program at USF. Alison earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Washington University in 1994 and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of South Florida in 1997. She is actively licensed as a CPA in Florida.
